Hodkhad is a village in the tehsil/mandal of Khed in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. This is a beautiful village in Khed Taluka, known for mangoes and its beautiful landscape.

I remember asking how far is Dhabhol from Hodkhad. Now I know. Our grandparents used to take the boat trip from our village to Dabhol and then from there to Gateway of India in Mumbai.
